“Wow, I feel good!”
774 viewsMarika had struggled with her weight ever since having children. When she started low carb, she wondered if this too was going to be a fad, or if this was going to be something that would help her reach her goals. Her husband had seen her go through quite a few diets from Weight Watchers to juicing to cutting down on meats.
Marika has much more energy, is stronger, and lifting more weights than she was before – and is happier. She wants to share with others what she is learning, and she’s introducing low carb to her family.
Marika Jerome: Being on this type of lifestyle has just given me the confidence to kind of stop saying, “No Marika, you’re 45, why are you doing this?”
Simon Jerome: She seems to have a lot more energy than she used to. She seems to be a lot happier.
Marika: We buy whatever is in season, we don’t have a specific list in mind, apart from the fact that we always get eggs and we always get amazing like pork sausages. I like food to look nice, I like to present it nicely and I like to enjoy it.
When I’ve got that craving for cereal, I’ll have that for breakfast with some cold milk… It’s lovely.
